Creating the first of 2023
The start of the year...
I think that this year, 2023, should be a fresh year for me. I want to blog. I also want to learn. I want to create. I want to progress in my education. I want to do all these things but the fact is there is only so much time for me to do it all.
So far this year I have started strong with my fitness journey. I have done my best to stay consistent and document it.
See that here...
It is still weird to be doing this. I am not the person that likes being on camera. I always said that I would be the person that is behind a camera so I wouldn't have to t be in front of it. This is forcing me to be creative and learn and stay consistent so I feel that the force positive is there.
Getting Work In...
Other areas where I have been at a slight difference is in my work load for photography. I am not upset with it. I have kind of actually welcomed it. It has been a nice change to just be at home and not in clubs for all of the weekends. I enjoy being able to just get a few portrait sessions in here and there. That side of it has been nice. The downside is that I am not staying up on the craft itself. This art is a muscle and if I am not working it out then I am not doing myself any benefits. The question has to be how do I do both, take the time off and get the work in to stay on top of my creative game in lighting and the style of photography I like to do?
Recent Photography
The work I have done was for country music artist Eric Woodring, a fantastic musician and singer. He has an old soul but still knows how to push out some rockabilly to get us all moving. I have been working with him on and off for the last few years and it has been an amazing ride. I think it will continue in the future as well. It is definitely a great partnership in regards to creating art for use in media.

What is next for 2023…
I am not 100% sure what is going to be coming next in this year. I feel a bit all over the place but I also feel like I am learning a lot and trying new things and pushing myself to do more “new” art even though I am unsure if it will be good. It is for sure an exciting time for me!
