This is the recap post. This is how the recap post is supposed to go. This is what I would normally do with it.Read More
Took a couple of days off to witness the magic of god, or science, which ever it is you believe in. Completely up to you! Of course I come out with some images. You can't go to Colorado and not come back with some images.Read More

I have started to get this theory developed. It's not scientific. There isn't a focus group. I have not created spreadsheets. It's just something the last few weeks has helped me come to conclusion with. It comes down to one simple statement. Don't be a d••k!
Take a few minutes to think about this. Why do we cuss. Why do we yell. It's all to create a moment of shock, awe, drama, etc... You are speaking and then BOOM! You are yelling. You are yelling and then you add that "word". It's a "bad word" and you know it is used to get your point across.
If you take the time to go out of your way and be nice you'll be surprised. It takes less energy in the long run. When it's time to make that point, even then, you don't have to be that d•••. You don't have to cuss. You can just assert yourself in a more stern manner. You can make it a point to let them know that you are not in the place to be happy go lucky but still you aren't yelling at the top of your lungs. You aren't being unprofessional in a place where it's expected for you to be professional.
Will this always work? I doubt that you an always be that super nice human being and not start to get walked all over. There are just some people that think that if you are nice then you are a push over. That being said, I think you will come off as someone that people will be good with working for or with more often then not.
It's definitely something that I've started to think about. Try it for a few weeks. This is not something that you can try out for a few days. Otherwise, I would have only spent a few days on it.
In other moments of clarity I've actually had the chance to see my improvement as a flyer designer. Learning to be clean while continually adding a ton of sh!+ to a poster sized area is no easy thing if you come from the minimal kind of things.
Learning new gear. This should making video in near dark situations easy to do!
The last day of social networking and not doing it. It's also the last day of not doing the daily blogging about it. Maybe I should continue to blog daily. I really don't know. I know that I really need to continue the content creation. It makes me focus better and push my brain to try and figure out what I want to create for the day. It also helps a little bit with me becoming a stronger writer.
Well A-Trak was kind of a let down. It's just not as good as it used to be. It feels like he just phoned it in. Rapid Ric does a better job.
Super Bowl is about to happen and as soon as that is over with it's on to Spring and Summer with Festivals, Clé, and Spire. I'm sure it'll be super busy. Fun things are soon to be coming.
I'm in the middle of reading this. Good stuff. It actually has some tidbits that refers to this social cleanse non-sense.
This is the face of a man that knows "shit is about to get real".
I did create cool people in love photos though.
I got invited out to do fun things and it had nothing to do with social media. Text messaging rejoice! That being said, I forgot about the event because I didn't have any social media tied to my phone. I probably could had the luxury of shooting the show. No such luck. Doesn't matter in my eyes. I'm just happy I had the chance to see the whole first album from 10 years performed. It has been 12 years since I first saw 10 Years in Houston. There have been lineup changes but it still doesn't matter. They sound as good now as they did then!
It was awesome to go to a rock show on a Friday night and not have to hustle over to work at a club. Those nights are far and few between. I'm starting to realize what it really means to hold on to those great moments that are becoming farther and fewer between.
How do you not get sh!t done with this playlist?!?!?!? ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
If you're an Apple Music person then click this button to catch all the 90s awesome sauce. Rap that you can understand!
P.S. I didn't get a damn thing done today. :-/
This is the downside to needing to be in front of your computer to get things done.
I'm getting fucking lazy and forgetful. There are moments when I spend the time through out the day putting my ramblings on here. I then just straight forget to hit the "save & publish" button.
There are also those days when I'm busy(not an excuse) and I don't schedule it better. I straight forget. Time to bring in TODOIST.
I'm still putting in work. I'm still staying away from social media. I'm still trying to keep this workout thing going. I'm still focused. That is what matters in my eyes. 2 more weeks of all this and then it's time to add on the next thing I want to focus on. It's all about the habit.
Super bowl is keeping me on my phone but off any kind of interwebs.
Recent design work.
So this is the first time that I really really wanted to post something. Tonight's been the first time in a really long time that I feel like I've gotten some amazing images. The artist I came through spire tonight was crazy. It was good enough that I'm trying to talk/type about this before I've even left the venue. The next time I get on here to finish this post I will have slept, did morning cardio, and possibly ate dinner. I just feel the need to type it out because fact is I wanna go home so quick edits and start posting images like crazy. Oh..... and I'll be posting some 4K video!!! My computer will hate me but I'll be happy.
